Looking forward to 2009? Celebrate the new year in style with live jazz and a very special menu created by West Cafe chef and owner, Sean Concannon.

The four-course prixe fixe dinner includes the choices below, champagne aperitif and live jazz with the Carri Bella Trio. It might be the best deal in town at only $50 per person!

We start serving dinner at 5:00pm and recommend you make reservations to ensure you’ll get a table!

Live music is from 8:30pm to 12:30am.

NEW YEAR’S EVE MENU

Starters:

Spicy Roasted Eggplant Dip with tomatoes & cilantro served with toasted bread crostini, sugar snaps, carrots & celery sticks
Traditional Oyster Stew, six oysters lightly braised with cream & classic seasoning
Marinated Flank Steak Skewers wrapped with curried roasted sweet potato

Salad Course:

House Salad of mixed greens with sesame ginger vinaigrette
Spinach Salad* with spiced hazelnuts, sliced apple & balsamic dijon dressing
Caesar*, traditional style with shaved pecorino cheese

Entrées:

Baked Stuffed Patrale Sole stuffed with Dungeness crab & artichoke hearts over jasmine rice pilaf and wilted spinach with a lemon saffron aioli served lemon roasted broccolini spears
Wild Mushroom Strudel, flakey puff pastry filled with local wild mushrooms, brie cheese, swiss chard, red onions and tofu confetti served with mashed potatoes and a roasted red pepper coulis
Moroccan Braised ¼ Chicken with cardamom, apricots & dates served with red bliss potatoes and roasted broccolini spears
Dijon Garlic Roasted Leg of Lamb stuffed with spinach, pine nuts & feta served over mashed potatoes with lemon roasted broccolini spears
Asian Spice Rubbed Beef Tenderloin served over a special version of our au gratin potatoes with roasted fennel, carrots & red onion garnish and mango dijon sauce

Dessert:

House-made Belgian chocolate truffles & assorted homemade cookie plate
Tiramisu, traditional style with espresso liqueur soaked lady fingers, marscapone cheese, dusted with cocoa Mango sorbet with 2 homemade cookies
Chocolate soufflé warmed and topped with vanilla ice cream

*Raw egg products are used to make this dish
